I don’t think using 3d models fits the spirit of inktober…
I do think it does. The idea was to train inking skills using a daily prompt. But nowadays it expended to any medium as at it’s core just a prompt list. And it’s nice to see artists take their own spin on the prompt using their own preferences/skill. I’ve seen daily stories, 3d models, and even knitting
For inktober I personally train my composition skills. Take a prompt, create a scene for it, make it look good (or turn it into a shitpost). I would train my modeling skills, but it takes too much time and I already do artfight for that
Despite, digital drawing has been allowed for a long time here, and it’s not the original vision either
This was discussed with th mod of the community, and seeing there are not that many contributors, the rules have been changed to allow art in general.

Oh, that is not a face I associate with “just pricked my finger”. I thought she was staring at it in thought and, well, I’ve been on the internet long enough.
TBF I had the idea of a cactus being somewhere it shouldn’t be… UNTIL MY IDEA GOT STOLEN.
although this might have been for the better as this cyanide and happiness type humor is hated both in here and c!comicstrips (still won’t stop me from posting)

To be frank, I’m usually more in-tune with kinktober and jokes like “anything’s a dildo if you’re brave enough”. Having a cactus be somewhere it shouldn’t would probably only rate a 5 or a 6 on my weird-shit-o-meter.
