The Ukrainian govt is conscripting prety much everyone except themselves and sending them to die in a war that is increasingly clear they are going to lose.
Russia conscripted a bunch of criminals at the beginning of the war, quickly realised that giving criminals weapons is a bad idea, and returned to the time-honoured tradition of offering wads of cash to poor people.
