Just an fyi, when sharing a non url post from piefed if you are using the web interface there post itself gets shared as a link to the post rather than the contents of the shared post.
Copy and paste the contents of the original post into the new post, then if you would like add a “cross-posted from original url” so people can see the op if they would like.
Yes, I know how it works. Unfortunately, true-cross posting isn’t available for posts like this… yet. In any case, I created the original post by hand and feel like a link is sufficient in this case, unless of course the community owner rules against that.
I’d rather spread more content around than fiddle with copy-pasting the entire contents, which sometimes I screw up, frankly.
