I always wondered why US American colleagues would almost blindly follow the orders from their superiors; US managers are like little gods that tell their sheep what to do; they don’t accept critical thinking during work, and their subordinates execute, execute, execute… until exhaustion.
Its true. It takes a persistent act of god to overcome our general disposition. Its why we are so isolated and alone. Pity should be dispensed when dealing with us. I wish it were different, as I long for a sense of community.
