    This is a distinction without a difference. Both should be illegal

    “If a retailer uses your personal information to charge you a higher price, that should be illegal, full stop,” said Amanda Dalton, the president and CEO of the Northwest Grocery Retail Association. “I think the question that Seattle is struggling with is: Should information about what you buy also be prohibited from being used to help you save money? And that’s where we think the ordinance needs to be fixed.”
