Is one of them give up and race at Portimao instead?
As much as I’d love to see them go back to Portimao, I don’t think moving the Spanish Grand Prix to another country is realistically on the table.

Pretty sure we could have the same number of overtakes next year and they still wouldn’t give up. Sadly we’re stuck with this broken shithole.
TL;DR
- widen and alter the approach to the turn 5/6 chicane
- [look at] the profile of turn 13, which is the left-hander straight after La Monumental
- widening the track around turn 20 - one of the tightest corners on the track with the barriers currently acting as a narrow pinch point
Don’t know if it’ll be enough to improve overtaking. Remains to be seen.
Fun fact, 5/6 are already altered from the original plan, where it was basically just a big braking zone and a 90° turn to then dive under the bridge. There’s a mod of that version for rFactor and Assetto Corsa, and I’ve lost many a gamble to keep the speed and not bump into the outer wall of the tunnel on the exit. The chicane is a big improvement over that, especially since there’s barely any run-off there.
I would, however, look into the trampoline curbs, irrc in this very chicane.
Also surprised that no one binned it into the wall at the exit of T17, likewise plagued by attempts to go as fast as possible without meeting the wall head-on.
