i feel like its “notgoodness” was largely by design due to sheer quantity of snark in every facet of this movie. remember that Edward Norton 5 minutes of hate bit from 25th Hour - the one where he just says fuck this and fuck that - Escape from LA segment by segment is just that and it gets progressively funnier once you spot what gets fucked in which segment. EFNY still da coolest movie ever made and Kurt Russell is god-tier
