A major outage has hit parts of the Dutch railway system after objects were found placed across lines, authorities say. The company responsible for rail infrastructure says it suspects deliberate wrongdoing.

    Weird feeling to immediately recognise the train station in the photos.

    It says affected areas were around Zwolle, Deventer and Amersfoort, major rail hubs for the eastern Netherlands. Disruptions around Zwolle seem to have now been resolved, there are still some near the other two.
