This year’s unprovoked bombings of Iran signify how US foreign policy comes full spiral.
The war on terror was a losing front in a proxy war against Russia and China.
Iran was somewhat neutral after the USSR fell but they’re very clearly hardcore eastern bloc now and have been using Chinese armaments to attack and cause insurgency in neighboring countries for decades.
Fun Fact, the IRGC have killed more civillins, protestors this year than the USA conflict. Not counting the famine caused by their mismanagement.

Not really. Tankies might promote the plights of Iran, thus why you see such sentiment so often on fediverse, but their enemies being bad doesn’t make them good.
A friend of mine wrote a reverse Huckleberry Finn in a collapsed US under the control of a corporation called PolitiCo (about 3 years before PolitiCo became a real thing).
Anyway, they referred to it as The War Against Terror (TWAT) and that no one wanted to discuss “such vulgarities.”
