I think maybe I like gouache more for how it’s similar to acrylic than how it’s similar to watercolour

Well done. Its rare I see a gouache piece posted online these days.

Personally I always liked gouache because it usually resulted in a similar palette to pastels, with the blending effects of watercolor/acrylic (albeit somewhat watered down acrylic).

Anyways, keep up the good work!
