I hate how AI actually makes me want to side with copyright laws but it’s one of the only ways to legally hurt them right now.
I’m still against the way copyright works, but copyright laws being applied one way for us and another way for AI corporations is much worse.
I see myself as championing equal justice, not championing copyright laws.
We used to have dilemmas where we were forced to choose between the lesser of two evils. Now it’s just all pure evils.
I’m done with lesser evils.

The only way to have Sota model is to use copyrighted data so this ultimately benefits big AI in the end. They get a monopoly because of the cost that’s added to making the model. That cost is passed on to consumers who are now forced into a subscription model. At least Hollywood and YouTube get paid though.
