Missed this in my subscriptions, let’s go.I don’t understand the appeal of these guys
I don’t understand the appeal of some things you post about, but I keep it to myself because no one asked me, and it might make you feel bad to have me post a shitty little comment about it. You might do me the same courtesy.
They have BOTW which was really fun and had a great vibe with all the different friends. Seems like the cast has withered and the women who were on it had to go because of creeps, I believe. Not as fun nowdays.
They have Re:View which used to have decently-informed talks on bigger or cult-favourite movies, but I think they kinda’ ran out of movies they’re passionate and informed about so that’s worse.
They have Half In The Bag, which used to be somewhat timely so even if their off-the-cut thoughts weren’t deep at least you could watch it on a movie you saw that week. Now it’s like every 3 months about 4 movies they rush through where both of them might not have even watched it, and usually need to bothsides any political component to the movie or the talk of it.
They have the Plinkett reviews which ran out of juice pretty early on, now it’s just beating a dead horse. Not super-informative now but it was cool when it came out.
They have the ‘black void’ series where they talk about current movie/tv issues that’s better because they actually discuss stuff that they’re interested in but yeah, still not amazing.
I think they’re coasting on a similar audience like AVGN is where the output is bad but people can’t turn away.
Im warming up to them. Maybe the rest of youtube feels so polished and artificial that their monotone makes them feel genuine.
dudes rock. also they like some of the things i like and hate some of the things i hate.
I found a YouTube link in your post. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
