Tried the tasks workflow, and I really felt that for this specific idea it was like fitting a round peg into a square hole. It fits, but there’s gaps that could be fixed by efficient graph visualizations that aren’t low-entry for the standard user.

I say this as an infosec nerd with a penchant for silly vimrcs.

I’ve been doing this for a year now, it works but I’ve had to become a lot less template driven. Obsidian Tasks is useful sometimes but I had to turn off most of the features overtime.

This started out of necessity when my infrastructure was pulled out from underneath me a month or so before a delivery. Now I don’t trust any issue or ticketing system that isn’t mirrored locally.

I was able to script Obsidian into my automated daily workbook - it’s simply incredible
