        When I first saw the headline I was hoping he just got knocked loopy and maybe fell down. Since then I saw Dana White quoted as saying it’s probably the worst injury he’s seen which doesn’t sound good. Hagar is a doofus and Power Slap is dumb as fuck, but I don’t want to see the guy loose an eye.

            Fair enough. I have a hard time keeping track of all the bad takes wrestlers have, I just remember him calling Tony Khan a communist.

    anyway the hill i’ll die on is that tony should turn all out into an annual event by renting out queen street and turning it into a block party like the 2000s era mmvas.

    JCW is doing a storyline where Jasmin St Claire has been impregnated by the very large Mr. Happy. It is 100% pure Vince Russo. Dude hasn’t been in the company for a year and he’s already got his somebody’s pregnant nonsense going on.

      I was kinda hoping Russo would be a good fit for JCW and maybe learn from past missteps, but it appears I was wrong (at least about the second part).

        There are some fun storylines going, but a lot feel very classic Russo. They also brought back jWo which isn’t the worst thing. It’s just very Russo. Dani No being Barnabus’ daughter even though they’ve both been in JCW forever was very Russo. It’s still fun because everything The Outbreak does is fun! It just doesn’t make much sense.

        Kokane and Big Vito was a good storyline. Kokane and Steven Flow is another good one. The Outbreak getting addicted to everything.

        It’s not all doom and Russo!

      Nice, I always think I’ll go the next time they come though my area, but never do. It’s at least in part because commentary helps my focus stay on the wrestling. Without it I’m pretty sure I’d spend too much time looking at the lighting rig and watching the ringside crew.

        My BFAM (Brother From Another Mother) is the opposite, he quickly gets bored watching wrestling on tv, but gets super into it when we’re there in person.

        Because it’s rare for me to be able to attend shows, I really focus on trying to take in everything.

        To give you an idea of how long it’s been since we went to a show, he was very disappointed to find out that “Scissor me, Daddy Ass!” is no longer a thing.
