Working on integrating Exodus Privacy data directly into LibreFind. Right now the app suggests FOSS alternatives, but soon it will also show you exactly which ad/analytics trackers and dangerous permissions are embedded inside the proprietary apps you’re replacing.

Still wiring it up, but test builds will be up on Codeberg soon.

    There are a ton of apps that show up as “proprietary” that aren’t. Firefox, Home Assistant, etc. are showing up as proprietary, but their source code is published and they have some form of non-proprietary license. It’s not GPLv2 or v3, but giving it a red proprietary badge seems a bit much.

    I got a very low score because 90% of the Foss apps are unknown or pending.

    Also interesting enough, I have an app on github and on play store and it marked it propietary despite code available and has GPLv3 license. This app still needs some work.
