Months ago, the media had like a two week meltdown over Hasan saying he wouldn’t vote for Gavin Newsome if he was the Dem candidate. They came to the realization that the “left wing Joe Rogan” they’d been searching for actually has principals.
Campaigning for DSA candidates, he has been quite active in the recent senate and house DSA wins… There really isn’t more to it than that. Maga and centrist dems have found it’s easier to attack out of context clips than to attack DSA policy positions.
I personally find the man incredibly grating, boisterous and unwatchable. But there is no denying he is the largest leftist platform with true influence on races.
