Is it possible to avoid the continuing decline in quality of consumer products brought on by corporate greed?

Consumers determine what quality is good enough. Not the suppliers.

If consumers were organised, united, disciplined, and smart, the answer would obviously be /yes/. But the answer is /no/ because consumers are none of those.
