    hmm, so what would you do if someone is on top of you, choking you? Do you poke or stab their eye with your finger? What if you can’t reach their eyes effectively? Is there like some sort of joint lock thing you can do to reduce their leverage on you?

      Attack their eyes or nose so they have to pull away, pull the little finger up if you can grip it, hit the inside of their elbow to buckle their arm and bring their face closer, roll, knee them in the crotch, but whatever you do, focus on the knife. That’s the immediate threat not the neck hold.

      Really the ideal solution is not to get into that position in the first place, which involves situational awareness and avoiding getting caught, which is probably not terribly helpful adive for the lady in this comic!
