my opinion:
- after “homelessness problem is fixed”(homeless in shelters)… all visibility and accountability is neglected. the mission is accomplished. the general population trusts in the credibility of implementers( despite reoccuring evidence of low standards and frequent corruption). 7pm nightly news sound-byte once a month. but the reality, is that the population is either supporting the abuse or doesn’t care.
truth is… homeless shelter are roughly equivilent to jail. so forcing “jail” conditions onto the homeless is really an erosion of their human rights
