Michigan health officials confirmed that there were two deaths linked to the outbreak of an intestinal illness called cyclosporiasis.
Courtesy of the Diarrhea Lettuce Company - formerly known as Taylor Farms - who conveniently made use of inmates in Arizona to process the lettuce, at a mere $4.50/hour (or thereabouts - though prisoners were only getting $1.50/hour).
Slavery shouldn’t exist - at all.
The Food and Drug Administration has honed in on iceberg lettuce that was supplied by Taylor Farms, a company that has made significant donations to the Trump administration and is has been linked to the use of prison labor.
Despite plenty of evidence to the contrary, White House officials declared the outbreak “under control” on July 21. Cases of the illness have risen more than tenfold since then.
@Sunshine if only they enacted the traceability rule this year like it was supposed to…
So they shit and piss in the field because of limited break times for more profits .
