I am now listening to Ithaca audio book by Claire North. Nice to hear a story at last from the women’s point of view , women’s stories have been neglected, or so the story teller tells us.
This book reminds me of Elektra and also The Trojan Women by Euripides.
The Trojan Women is such an amazing play. It was so political, so powerful when it was first staged it nearly caused riots.
( seriously, I’m only one hour in, i find it a bit cringy )
