It’s not so easy. The words of Jesus, if taken seriously and followed, are enough to live a righteous life and build a sane society. The religion of Jesus, Judaism, if understood as a religion of submission to the Creator by staying moral and observing God’s laws, is a fertile bed and solid ground for building a civilization. Roman Catholicism and offshoots is a Western pretend religion, created by co-opting the image of Jesus after they killed him, and choosing basically an ICE agent of those days to be the spokesperson of it, the infamous Paul, who would entirely inverse his message.

So, it comes with the appearance of something positive, because anyone who knows the least about Jesus knows he was an antiimperialist self-sacrificial man of the people, but it has never been that. It’s a trap for the average man who will never think about anything like that deeply, and an obstacle for those who will. 😔
