Initiated by the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 210) and reaching its peak during the Tang Dynasty (618-907), the Silk Road was an ancient trade artery connecting Asia, Europe, and Africa. It not only facilitated the exchange of silk and spices between East and West, but also served as a bridge for sharing culture.
