There is no educational program I hate more than NoRedInk. I hate it with a burning passion. This site made me absolutely hate English class in high school. Getting stuck on the same lesson for 40 or so minutes because I kept having to do three extra questions in a row just to move on with the assignment was a total nightmare and really hurt my mental health. Not only that, but my friends in my class also hated this stupid site, too; they all kept getting stuck on the same questions over and over and I recall one person slamming their desk in frustration over it. The unforgiving and brutal penalty/sanction system of NoRedInk did not help me learn or understand the material and instead made me want to rush through the lessons instead so I could complete the assignment in the quickest amount of time, which is exactly the complete opposite of what one of these sites is intended to do. And those damn hints… might as well not even have hints in the first place with how so broad, vague, and hard to understand they are. The hints are very hard to understand even for a teacher, and also, even worse, if you have to use the hints at any time during a lesson, then that also causes you to get hit by the ‘answer three in a row to continue’ penalty system. So, like a majority of the time, I didn’t bother even looking at any of the hints and just blindly guessed on all of the questions hoping I was right. When students are rushing through questions blindly guessing instead of actually carefully paying attention to each question, then that means that your ‘educational’ website has failed at being an educational website. Plus, these lessons on NRI being required after-school assignments didn’t help, either; our ELA teacher practically handed out these lessons and forced us to do these lessons for homework after school. So, it just piled onto an already insanely high homework load, and we had way too much of it already without NoRedInk piled on top of it. Now, I was luckily able to finish all of these lessons at least before the end of the school day, but I cannot say the same about some of my classmates, who had to stay up for extra hours way past their bedtime just to finish at least one of these things. Some could not complete NoRedInk topics for literal days. And even then, this didn’t help them retain any material taught to them at all, because they were just rushing through questions instead of looking at each one carefully, which also includes myself. And I do not blame myself, my classmates, or anyone ele who was forced to go through this site for that matter; I fully pin the blame on the program itself for its absolutely garbage implementation. I originally thought I was going to like this website due to the fact that it let you select topics for your favorite stuff like movies, in which would be also included in the questions. At the end of my Junior year, there was nothing I hated the most that year than that site. I am so glad I never had to use it again in my Senior year. It did a lot more harm than good to me and my peers, and I could not stand it. This site has gotta be up there with the likes of IXL, which in and of itself is an incredibly hated learning tool, and if I consider your site just as bad as IXL, then that’s saying something on how absolutely terrible your platform is.

NoRedInk is straight-up garbage, and from personal experience, I stand by my opinion.
