Today’s announcement is that Fairphone will be officially sold in the US, complete with a warranty and deGoogled OS.

For what it’s worth, I’ve been on the Fairphone 4 since last summer in the USA and Colombia. It’s a good phone, by far the most powerful smartphone I’ve owned, but there is no warranty nor is there a way to get replacement parts Stateside until now.
FWIW The article says $599, but when you click through to the shop $629.90 is the cheapest price I could find.
I do love the idea and will continue to keep an eye on Fairphone for when my current one runs out of security updates in 4 years or so.
