Comments on HN full of people posting how Opus or GPT “got it” but failing to realize it only got the decoy. We don’t need a way to make text unreadable to AI if the humans don’t read it anyway; we can just not write anything and convey the same amount of information.
Every time I look at HN comments, I’m disappointed in humanity. Tech-oriented forums used to be where I went to refill my supply of hope.
Man, I agree. I’ve had to recalibrate how I take in information.
Am I missing something? I can only read the decoy too and even that is barely.
Assuming the sample message video on the page is the one they were testing with, (they never actually say) the actual message is “ONLY A HUMAN CAN READ THIS”.
There seems to be something weird going on with the video though. The progress bar jumps around erratically while it plays briefly, then stops with an error about missing MIME type.
