In my experience, men are pretty thirsty and for every “Men don’t want” rule there will be plenty of exceptions.
So much of “men don’t want” is either negging or “want but don’t want to be seen in public with” behaviors. And then the audacity to act like they’re doing me a favor with their interest 🤮
True! It’s so gross how often men think “instead of interacting with you like a fellow human and an equal, i’ll talk down to you and somehow that’s going to make you interested”

Literally, I’m a trans lesbian and interacting with men is an exercise in waiting for them to say or do something gross. Gay men too ironically, something about being gay and trans at the same time screws with people’s gender/sexuality assumptions.
Unfortunately gay men aren’t any more immune from toxic masculinity and misogyny than straight men. I think on average they’re more likely to examine those biases, but it still takes work like all of us and some refuse to do it.

I’m “unfortunate” enough to be bi, although given how awful most men are I usually stick to enbies and women. I guess i’ll have that to look forward to once I pass more? 🤢
