Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir is scheduled to travel to New York next month to address the United Nations Chiefs of Police Summit on 7 and 8 July. The Israeli minister will lead an official delegation from Israel’s national security ministry to the annual convention at the UN headquarters.
The visit marks a rare appearance for Ben-Gvir in the US, where his policies have drawn heavy international criticism. In response to his upcoming arrival, human rights advocates and activist groups have launched a coordinated campaign to protest his presence.
Organizers are circulating an open letter addressed to New York Attorney General Letitia James calling for legal accountability. The mobilization also includes plans for a mass demonstration directly outside the conference venue to confront the minister in person.
The planned protests come amid expanding legal challenges against the Israeli official in international and domestic forums. Rights groups recently filed a formal complaint with the US Justice Department accusing Ben-Gvir of overseeing systemic abuse against Palestinian detainees.

I jest of course, usually I don’t like being so mean-spirited to baby leftists, (not Zohran but his supporters), however I do feel it is at least a little valid. Inshahallah I’m proven wrong, and the activists are able to succeed unabaited but I’m not confident.
Mr. “I’ll arrest Netanyahu” has the chance to fulfill something adjacent to a campaign promise. I’ll love to see how the righist section of DSA defends his inaction.
