While congress always had a terrible reputation in the US it always had the excuse for individual members that ‘well that’s just what that person’s district/state wants;’ we are more and more able to prove that’s not the case, and can show its never been the case, which weakens their propaganda and foments the seeds of revolution.
The perception of a truly corrupt and irredeemable government is one of the essential pillars of revolution, until that perception is the default revolution cannot happen.
