It’s okay we used to get heatwaves like this back in the days (we didn’t) and nothing serious is happening.

60+% humidity during the day as well. I was covered in sweat just by standing today.

Not looking forward to it at all, anything above 30°C is horrible especially when working.

Anything above 18 is horrible IMO.

It’s because it’s so insanely humid. Today the temp is 21c with 89% humidity, and this is bad enough. plus no air conditioning and houses built to trap heat.

Sounds awful. Summers are torture to me. I wish it was chilly and grey always.

I went to Brasov in Romania many years ago and it reminded me so much of the UK, the misty, foggy green forests and the general vibe. I felt more at home ther than anywhere else I’ve been.

i live in eastern europe and everybody here has an AC and invests into them for older buildings. living in italy without AC is insane

More people are getting AC installed now but AC is pretty expensive still. Like a decent AC can cost at least 3000 euro in The Netherlands. If you are renting, good luck convincing your landlord to do that lmao. A mobile AC unit won’t always work.

Yeah, I am very fortunate to have been able to get an install for less than that (and to live in my family abode so that landlords are not in the picture at all).

It should be on the landlords to do it
