Shit! I just found out I’d been at this exact point before, and I didn’t even remember it when I posted about my “first” Friday yesterday.

I went to that festival, and I drank. Just “one last exception”, cause I didn’t want to make my sobriety official in front of my colleagues yet.

And that was that. Another year down the drain.

    There is no such thing as being 100% alcohol free. If you drink a sugary drink, some bacteria in your digestive tract will make alcohol. If you have too much of the wrong kind of bacteria, you end up with Auto-brewery syndrome

    So don’t beat yourself up over it. If you can go a year with only one drink. That is great work and you should feel proud and strive to do as good next year.
