UK records hottest day of year
It’s almost as if the days get warmer in late spring…
Shite headlines like this are the kind of thing that fuel climate sceptics.
Warmer, yes, but not over 30, especially in May where that is literally double the mean high temp.
… and about a week ago it was 5°C and snowing and hailstoning.
Oh aye, we’re fucked. Shite journalistic choices like this though don’t help the cause. If we’ve any hope of reversing course it requires all hands on deck, and a decent chunk of the population still scoff at the seriousness of climate change because they see titles like this and dismiss it straight away. That was my point.
Can’t wait for September when everyone says the summer weather was shite and cold.
