ignoring the stupid music on the clip, this is extremely bizarre and unsettling. i can’t for the life of me understand why this would have been done if it is what people are suspecting. why not simply have Harward do this himself? he’s an admiral. the feds can likely force him to do whatever. was he resisting? has anyone seen him alive since the DOJ fiasco with House Republicans? there’s clearly defectors throughout the federal government. i imagine that goes up to the highest levels in charge too.
some are saying this is a shadow or encoding issues or green screen artifacts. sure, alright, maybe. but as a skeptical person myself, i spent some time looking around and couldn’t find a compelling explanation that didn’t feel like cope or handwaving.
maybe Harward is embarrassed about his flabby turkey neck and had his fed buddies whip him up a realistic mask of himself to use for camera appearances, y’know, like a toupee situation. now he’s caught in front of the entire world and is too embarrassed to admit to it.
Most of that could just be lighting and makeup. He may have had Botox but it doesn’t even seem that extreme with how starkly different the lighting is.
Better to focus in what he’s talking about.

there’s literally no way you can feel confident beyond doubt that’s what you are seeing unless you have an agenda of denialism in the face of questioning something you are protecting, because look again. look at other videos. this is extremely bizarre and not easily dismissible. find me another example of this exact effect happening in a live context and i’ll pull back.
That doesn’t look like a mask to me at all. It looks like there is a shadow in the shape of his shirt collar. As he talks the shirt collar shakes and moves and gives the impression that there is a gap near his neck.
Sorry but this shit is just conspiracy theory crap. What’s more bizarre and frightening are the people that eat this crap up.
Here is a real example of what a human mask looks like on someone. You can tell right away due to the uncanny valley effect.
