I was thinking recently that while I shifted my buying habits pretty drastically for things like groceries (to buy local and Canadian if possible), I kept the same habits for books, video games, etc.
Is there somewhere here that would be good for posting things like discussions about Canadian-made art/lit/games? Not so much in a ‘buy Canadian’ sense as in a ‘Talk about Canadian-made culture’ kinda way.
If there isn’t something like this already I could create a community, though hopefully I wouldn’t end up the only person posting there… If I did make one I was thinking it could be for both recent things and nostalgic/retro Cancon. (Growing up, there were cool things like Reboot or 3D animated shorts on YTV that were Canadian.)
If you don’t find one, make one.
I didn’t want to create something redundant if it did exist, but I don’t see anything. I’ll put some thought into what form it could take and what sorts of things would be reasonable to include.
Would definitely be interested in a community like this.
