Because Tuvok is pure-blooded Vulcan, it’s doubtful he would ever call her Katy in a momentary fit of emotion.

Meh Spock is half Vulcan. And in my head tries to be more Vulcan than full Vulcans. Reference: Guinan talking to Worf about how he tries to be more Klingon and ends up missing the mark.
But look at Tuvok and the Vulcan captain from DS9 and all of T’Lyn’s crewmates from the Vulcan ship. idk
They can certainly be catty.
