Seven months after the so-called ceasefire, people in Gaza say the war has not ended. Bisan Owda reports from Gaza, where bombings continue, large parts of the territory remain inaccessible and families are still living in tents on top of the rubble of their homes.
“They say the war ended. But it didn’t.” With children walking to school under fire and people struggling to access water and basic needs, daily life is still shaped by uncertainty and loss. At the edge of it all, the sea remains one of the few places where people can gather to find a moment of calm.
“They cannot destroy the sea.”
