Even if it’s just one day, this is important to get people organized for a longer general strike. It’s one form of mass action that is effective.
It can be. But it can also be a feeling of hopelessness when inevitably nothing comes of it.
It’s important to have a structures plan of escalation, specific demands, and a realistic goal in the outcomes of a single day strike.

General Strike is a stupid idea. Show me the dummy that thinks self-inflicting pain on ourselves is going to convince MAGA to empathize with us, and change their ways, I want to talk to that person. Because everything I’ve seen from MAGA indicates that these sadists would only point and laugh, and if they could, make it worse. If Trump told those corporations to fire anyone who called in sick on Strike Day, many of them would.
Shutting down the government makes far more sense. That hurts THEM, not us, and they don’t like pain. They’ll change when THEY are suffering, not us.

I it was at all feasible for millions upon millions of Americans to do it for an entire week, the stock markets would take such a hit that even the rich would want Trump out. That would cripple him for sure.

Being planned. Thats like 3 days from now. I want more of these but it would kinda be good to know a week out but not push it so far its over a month out. That being said its easy enough for me to do and I will but im not a good subject.
