Remember that oil spill back in the 00s? The one that made the Gulf Coast littered with oil balls in the sand forever. This is horrible
This is, allegedly, a mostly natural oil spill, ie. Sea floor leaky.
There are thousands of probe wells all over the GoM. Natural my ass.
Do a journalism then.
The only positive that people still call it the Golf of Mexico
You could have just chosen not to comment on that instead of spreading the notion of the other name.
AP lost White House access to still be able to call it that.
Even then, when horrible things happen to it, they can call it by the name they want to make it embarassing
Doesn’t mean you need to taint their articles with this notion. Their talking points and story deserves our attention. Not them doing something else in the past. They are trying to spread news.
when the spill needs cleanup, it’s the Gulf of Mexico, when oil $$$ need to be made, it’s the Gulf of America.
