The tentative agreement is for a five-year contract, and includes wage increases of 6.5 per cent and three per cent in the first two years.

“We get a raise that still pays us less than the other major carriers and only some of the rights we were already entitled to under the Canada Labour Code,” said the minority report.

    Here we go again! ✊

Unfortunately, given how high the libs are polling, I have a feeling they’re gonna throw the posties under the bus again.

EVs seem like a really good idea right now if you have been watching the news. Straight of Hormuz blockade is blocking 20% of world oil. Ukraine hit Russia’s ports and they have supposedly lost 40% of their capacity.

Trump is threatening to escalate. If he does that means more oil production will be hit.

And if he were successfully able to invade Iran I have no doubts they would destroy all their oil infrastructure.

It’s always a good idea. These O&G wars have been happening. EV makers and owners know it. When you can charge at home, there is no downside to an EV over a gas car.

“The Crown corporation has recorded more than $5 billion in losses since 2018, faced with a significant reduction in letter mail and growing competition for package delivery.”

What does the union expect? Every strike means more customers leave, never to return.

It’s not losses when it’s a public service. That money didn’t disappear, it went to (hopefully) the Canada Post employees

What is the purpose and mandate of Canada Post? Is it to deliver mail, or is it for something else? Let’s not lose sight this is a service that is increasing not wanted by Canadians.
