I often see this ‘more replies’ button, but it doesn’t do anything other than flicker slightly when tapped—like it was going to load something and then thought better of it…

      Edit: yes it was indeed a blocked user. Perhaps it should be a different ui element there in this such cases?

        I think it’s likely an API limitation. I’ve seen this in the Jerboa app (developed by lemmy’s devs) and I believe also in the web ui.
