Duh. People have been talking about the possibility of this for a looooong time. The article says it’s legally questionable, but I really doubt it. You accept ToS, and that’s a legally binding contract. Whatever the contract holder chooses to do with the information they gather from you is entirely up to them, and you’ve legally forfeited your right to that information.
