The Israeli government has aligned itself with the Republican party since Obama times. Any Democrats trying to ally themselves with Israel are useful idiots being used.
Long before Obama, but yeah. This has been going on for decades. They paid and worked with both sides, but always moving things to the right; towards an authoritarian theocracy. They are part of the fundamentalist Christian growth.
Israel and the USA and Democrats and Republicans have been moving farther right since at least Bill Clinton (in my opinion, not sure of who is in charge of the left-right scale).

Obama, HRC, Biden all had huge Zionist/AIPAC funding backing, even as GOP was also taken care of. It was Oct 7th, that made all Zionist funding go to GOP because anti-genocide left would pull Harris away from “finishing the job of Genocide” absolutism.
