    The wording is odd, as if FOM and the promoters want to move the two GP to an undetermined date later in the year. But when can they fit in an already packed calendar?

      There was consideration to doubling up in China or Japan but it was deemed unfair to teams who would have to stay out there for an extended period. Then a Europe round was not possible because there would be no promoters fee.

      There is no reason for FOM to replace the races as the remaining calendar is still above the contracted number of races for broadcast.

      WEC is even more optimistic and they rescheduled the season opener in Qatar to be next to the Bahrain race at the end of the season.
