    Explanation: Mark Antony, one of Caesar’s close allies, was considered crude and something of a boor by his fellow Romans, and never showed any hint of the genius - political, cultural, or military - that Caesar did. Yet after Caesar’s death, Mark Antony managed to snare the extremely well-educated and cultured Egyptian queen Cleopatra first as his lover, then as his wife.
