If you want to change your behavior, it’s more important to find the behaviors that fit your disposition and what you naturally enjoy, instead of trying to fit yourself into what you “should do” and what you should like.

You have to be radically honest with yourself. Look at the results.

Meaning and contentment comes from finding a place where you fit in with your strengths and weaknesses, not from trying to mold yourself into what you should be and do, even if that should be and do would make you rich and fit etc.

This can really be a hard pill to swallow, especially if your disposition is something else than the “current ideal” of society. But remember, it’s all relative, what is the most valued and successful traits in this societal system, could have been “loser” dispositions in agricultural society or hunter-gatherer society.

You’ll be better off by finding where you fit in.
