      This is quite realistic. That’s how Ubuntu handled some media codecs and other proprietary software on their installer for years.

        Lol, the “”“good”“” times when distros wouldn’t simply add ffmpeg and VLC to their repos (I’m looking at you, Fedora).

    The distros will probably just add a statement to not use it in California, at least not for personl use idk.

    Once an open source software for it is available, it would be easy to deploy via package management. Its a stupid law tho. Age checks are not a replacement for proper parenting, which makes them obsolete.
