I 100% agree with you but for me when I fuck up my back (happens every year or two) and it hurts but doesn’t have any actual (diagnosable) tissue damage, a chiropractor can get me like 80% better with one visit. I think of it as a strong percussion massage. But yeah they all claim all types of unsubstantiated BS and try to get you on preventative maintenance schedules for no reason. Also, don’t ever let them or anyone else adjust your neck. People get severe injuries from neck “adjustments”
Just pay for a massage, not a stupid woowoo one, a real one, depending on where you go it might be covered by insurance. They actually know how the body works, as far as that issue goes and require more licensing than a chiropractor. Chiropractic is a pseudo science con with the potential of causing spinal fractures and paralysis.
