Not sure they come across as tattoos.

    Yes and no…they look hurried compared to the rest. To be honest, all of it is better than I can do. So take this light hearted and only cuz you asked. They look more like a marker than a permanent tattoo.

      As someone with tattoos, yeah. Too “streaky”.

      Tattoos are generally well defined, but also have micro blow-outs. They also fade in seemingly random ways, sometimes a nice and thick line fades, or the more faint areas fade, often the edge blurs sooner than the interior fades. It depends on a number of factors like sunlight exposure, the color / ingredients of the ink, the heavy-handedneas of the artist, even the immune system of the tattooed person.

      Now, I can see this done with specific artistry if there’s some meaning behind the marker-like quality. But I’m not aware of any of that going on here.

      Either way, significantly better than anything I’ve ever put to paper.
