So after the USian attack on Iran I’ve been keeping updated on the news via the Megathread here on the grad. Many people around me and in my country in general rejoice in the death of Khamenei, calling him a “bloodthirty dictator”, a “torturer” and a “madman”, but all I could find as sources for these claims are articles from the West.
I’ve tried looking around for more reliable sources but I couldn’t find much, so now my question is: who exactly was he? I admit I lack knowledge on the history of Iran and neighbouring countries so I feel somewhat bad asking for info here, but I feel this is one of the few places that could actually give me another point of view on the matter instead of the liberal one.
I thank you in advance for any answers or direction on where to find more info. Stay strong comrades
The people of ProleWiki are adding stuff about the conflict now. https://en.prolewiki.org/wiki/2026_Iran_Conflict

I’ll look into the revolution, thanks! Do you have any resources I could use to have attendible information?
