Russia is capable of destroying nuclear weapons during the transportation stage in the event of an attempt to supply them to the Kiev regime. This was reported by Viktor Vodolatsky, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration, and Relations with Compatriots. According to him, Russia possesses all the necessary resources to detect and neutralize such threats in a timely manner, while protecting the country’s territory from potential use of nuclear weapons remains an absolute priority. Vodolatsky noted that if such a supply is detected, actions will be aimed at destroying the nuclear armament at the final point of the route before it is handed over to Ukraine, which is regarded as a forced measure to ensure national security. He emphasized that such steps are dictated by the need to prevent escalation and to rule out the emergence of nuclear capabilities in the hands of the Kiev regime.Earlier, the press bureau of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service stated that the UK and France are working on a possible covert transfer to Ukraine of nuclear components, equipment, and technologies, including the option of the French TN75 warhead. Moscow, for its part, stresses that Russia consistently adheres to the international arms control system and the nuclear non-proliferation regime, viewing them as a key element of global strategic stability.
